Envit Ltd. Successfully Obtained Funding for the Target Research Program "CRP 2025"

Envit Ltd. has successfully obtained funding from the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS) under the Target Research Program (CRP) 2025 for the implementation of a new research project.

The project entitled “Integrated approach to the remediation of complexly contaminated soils in military areas: Development of innovative technology for the removal of explosives, heavy metals and metal fragments” addresses one of today’s major environmental challenges – the remediation of soils contaminated by military activities.

Military exercises and the destruction of unstable ammunition lead to the accumulation of explosives, heavy metals, and metal fragments in the soil, posing risks to ecosystems and human health. Existing remediation methods are often unsustainable or limited in scope, highlighting the need for innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.

Envit will combine its patented ReSoil® technology for heavy metal removal with biological and chemical processes for explosive degradation. The result will be an integrated remediation technology capable of effectively removing multiple pollutants while supporting soil revitalization and reuse.

The project aims to contribute to cleaner environments, sustainable land management, and the development of advanced remediation technologies both in Slovenia and internationally.
