This Thursday, join us in Prevalje, Slovenia, for an on-site demonstration of innovative remediation approaches addressing heavy metal-polluted soils in the Meza Valley, together with ENVIT Ltd.


You will have the opportunity to explore the remediation approaches tested within ARAGORN, discover the ReSoil® mobile pilot unit and access free heavy metal soil testing.

The event will feature the mobile pilot unit – the ReSoil® trailer – where visitors will experience a LIVE demonstration of the ReSoil® technology, which is being tested within the ARAGORN project for the remediation of heavy metal polluted soils.

What to expect:
1. Presentation of the ARAGORN project and remediation activities in the Meza Valley

2. Overview of contamination challenges and applied remediation approaches at the Poljana site

3. Presentation of tested remediation approaches:
·       Stabilization using biochar
·       Stabilization using iron-based materials
·       ReSoil® technology for heavy metal removal

4. LIVE demonstration of the ReSoil® process on the mobile pilot unit – ReSoil® trailer
·       multimedia presentation and guided tour of the ReSoil® trailer
·       interactive co-creation activities with citizens and stakeholders

FREE SOIL TESTING FOR CITIZENS

Visitors are invited to bring soil samples for free basic heavy metal testing.
The event aims to raise awareness about contaminated soils, demonstrate sustainable remediation technology, and actively involve local communities in shaping future remediation priorities.
